Dr. Rigby is a Board Certified Veterinary Dentist™ offering advanced dentistry services including endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, restorative dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery.
ADVANCED ANESTHESIA
Dr. Pang completed her residency in Veterinary Anesthesia in 2006 and has extensive experience in private and academic anesthesia practice.
Dr. Pang provides a comprehensive anesthetic service including detailed case preparation, patient-specific anesthetic protocols, advanced anesthetic techniques and monitoring, and tailored postoperative care. Patient safety is a priority with checklist and checkout procedures included in every case.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography
Cone Beam Computed Tomography – or a “CBCT” is a form of diagnostic imaging that scans bone and/or soft tissue. Once the image is fully rendered, the anatomy scanned can be explored in cross-sections for any abnormalities.
Continuing Education
Alberta Veterinary Dentistry conducts and hosts a wide variety of continuing education courses. In addition to our traditional Sunday Morning Wet-Lab series, this year we are offering dental surgery wet-labs for veterinarians, RECOVER Rescuer Certification, personalized anesthetic training for individuals and/or entire veterinary teams, and instrument sharpening lessons.
COMMUNITY
Dr. Rigby and Dr. Pang provide a wide range of continuing education seminars for the veterinary community.
Alberta Veterinary Dentistry offers elective in-clinic rotations to senior veterinary students from the University of Calgary and Western College of Veterinary Medicine.
In addition, Dr. Rigby donates her time performing dental work for the animals at the Calgary Zoo.
